In India cast is a subdivision of Religion. Each cast is divided into sub casts. Every cast is being segregated according to their traditional occupations. I come from Ezhava cast .The main occupation of this most popular cast in kerala is Vaidyam (Ayurvedic Healing), Warriors (Kalari Payattu), farming agriculture, Textile industry, Business and Toddy tapping (a small percent - 2.3%) etc.
